FoodTruckCost is a free cost estimator. Here's what we collect, what we don't collect, and what happens with your information.

What We Collect

We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics platform. Umami does not use cookies. It does not track you across sites. It does not store personally identifiable information. What it records: page views, referring URLs, and browser/device type in aggregate. No individual user profiles are created.

We do not collect your name, email address, or payment information. There is no account creation on this site.

Calculator inputs you type into the form (budget amounts, zip codes, selections) are processed in your browser to generate results. These inputs are not stored on our servers, not logged, and not transmitted to third parties.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. Umami Analytics runs without cookies entirely. Your browser may store standard session information, but we do not set persistent cookies for tracking purposes.

Third-Party Services

We load fonts from Google Fonts. This means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when you visit the site. Google's privacy policy governs what Google does with that request. We have no control over Google's data practices.

We do not embed advertising networks, social media trackers, or affiliate tracking pixels. There are no third-party ad platforms on this site.

Analytics Data

The aggregate analytics data we collect (total page views, traffic sources, general device breakdown) is used to understand which calculators are useful and what content to improve. This data is not sold. It is not shared with advertisers.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data Retention

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to retain or delete. Aggregate analytics data is retained to track site performance over time. If you have questions about specific data, contact us at the address below.

If we change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. We don't expect that to happen often. The site's whole point is cost estimates, not data collection.
